Yes, we’re all sad that Japan was eliminated in the FIFA World Cup 2010 to Paraguay in a ridiculous penalty kick shoot out after 2 hours of amazing play (no, I’m not bitter) but fans in Osaka still pay tribute to their Blue Samurai by jumping in Dotonbori River in Ebisu.

Chiba Fans Sing Song For Bobby Valentine

Fans of the Chiba Marines baseball team are fighting to keep Bobby Valentine (former NY Mets manager) as the team’s manager. Here they sing their song for him:
“Bobby Valentine/Bobby Valentine, We will fight for you/always behind you/come on now Bobby/Let’s make our dream come true.”
This makes me like the Japanese a little more. =)
